ESCROWLANCE LTD - REFUND POLICY

 

At Escrowlance Ltd (“Escrowlance”, “we”, “our”, “us”), we are committed to providing a secure and transparent escrow service for our users. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be granted, how refunds are processed, and the fees we retain during such transactions.

 

1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

Escrowlance acts as a neutral third-party intermediary holding stablecoin funds during a transaction between Buyer and Seller. Refunds are considered only under circumstances where a valid request is made according to our Terms of Service and this policy.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS

Refunds may be processed in the following scenarios:

  • The transaction is mutually canceled by both Buyer and Seller before any delivery is completed.
  • Escrowlance determines that a refund is appropriate following dispute resolution procedures.
  • The Buyer requests cancellation prior to Seller’s delivery and the Seller agrees.

Refund requests initiated after delivery confirmation by the Buyer will not be accepted unless explicitly permitted under our dispute resolution process.

 

3. DEDUCTION OF FEES

All refunds processed by Escrowlance are subject to the following deductions:

  • Escrowlance Service Fee: Our standard service fee (1% of the transaction amount) is non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund amount.
  • Network Transaction Fees: Blockchain transaction (network) fees required to process both the initial escrow deposit and the refund will be deducted from the refund amount. These fees vary based on current blockchain network conditions.

This means that the refund recipient will receive the net amount after these deductions have been applied.

 

4. REFUND METHOD

Refunds are processed in the same stablecoin and to the same wallet address from which the original escrow deposit was made unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing by Escrowlance Ltd.

 

5. REFUND TIMING

Refunds will typically be processed within 3-5 business days from the date a valid refund request is approved. However, processing times may vary depending on blockchain network conditions and verification requirements.

 

6. NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Escrowlance service fees once a transaction has been initiated.
  • Blockchain network fees associated with the deposit or refund transactions.
  • Refunds requested after delivery approval has been confirmed by the Buyer.
  • Transactions completed outside of Escrowlance’s platform or without using our escrow process.

 

7. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of wallet addresses provided for escrow deposits and refunds. Escrowlance Ltd is not responsible for lost funds due to incorrect wallet addresses or errors outside our control.
